To veil or not to veil…

There is no law saying you shouldn’t. But here are a few reasons why you should at least consider…

Think of your veil as an accessory. Who doesn’t want the picture of your husband taking a peek of his bride under a veil? Or that moment when you walk down the aisle and you have a trail of dreamy tulle following. You like photos? A veil is a great accessory.

Wearing a veil can be for religious reasons. In the Jewish faith they have a wonder full veiling ceremony, the Bedeken. It brings families together and there is a very sweet moment between bride and groom. Learn more about this ceremony here.

Did you know the bridal veil is the oldest part of the wedding ensemble? It dates back to the ancients, who “wrapped brides from head to toe to represent the delivery of a modest and untouched maiden.”

Consider the tone of your ceremony. If you are getting married in a very traditional venue, sometimes it’s nice to follow tradition and wear the veil and have it lifted when you meet your groom at the alter.

For whatever reason – a veil pulls your bridal look together and makes you look like a BRIDE!
